"A classic reborn in Canton! Takara was known for many years in Canton as the go-to Sushi restaurant in the area.
A local gem having moved just down the street from its original location into the famous DD in the center of town. As I dined this evening it felt weird - having seen the view a million times while sipping a Dunkachino.
Dark wood, dark colors, clean lines and many mood lights transform what used to be a local coffee shop into a very sleek, modern Japanese sushi spot."
"We dined in. Food is ok. Atmosphere is cozy. Restaurant is nice and clean. Sunday there is only one waitress who is taking care of all guests. Really sad. Service is pretty quick. Vegetable tofu teriyaki is excellent."
"Nice sushi restaurant in a good location in Canton. Restaurant has its own parking lot - so parking was super easy. The restaurant itself was nicely decorated and clean. My only critique is I wish the waitress was more mindful in coming back to check on us and refilling our tea. My friend and I were very thirsty that day and had to ask her for refills on our tea. The waitress was however very friendly and prompt with our requests. I would definitely go back and try something else off their menu."
"Very good sushi. There was a lot of fish on my Bruins sushi. Fast and courteous service. Limited parking. The place is pretty small as it was converted from Dunkin Donuts. Nice touch is a handful of outdoor seats."
