There is a special kind of magic in our town right now, and it’s all thanks to the incredible Medfield Girls Basketball team. We are absolutely overjoyed to congratulate these amazing athletes on completing a perfect, undefeated season and capturing their third straight Division 2 State Title!

Winning one championship is a dream come true, but a back-to-back-to-back victory? That takes an unbelievable amount of heart, teamwork, and resilience. To the players, the coaches, and the families who supported them every step of the way—we are so incredibly proud of you.

Heart, Hustle, and a Perfect Season 

Watching this team dominate the court has been nothing short of inspiring. We were all on the edge of our seats cheering as the girls took over the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell, securing a decisive 72-38 victory over St. Mary’s.

It wasn't just that they won; it was how they won. They played with balanced scoring, an unstoppable defense, and a deep sense of unity.

• Leading the Charge: We loved watching the steady, inspiring leadership from captains Tess Backe and Naya Annigeri, alongside massive plays from Izzy Kittredge and the rest of the roster.

• A Record-Breaking Run: Setting a new Division 2 record for the largest margin of victory in a title game is a testament to this team's unparalleled focus.

• An Unforgettable Moment: That late-game hug between the captains wasn't just a celebration of a game won—it was a beautiful symbol of a three-year dynasty built on friendship and trust. It sent our seniors off in the most perfect way possible.
